Today is one of those days I just want to stay inside with a hot drink and wear leggings and a sweater. Actually, I should rephrase that... today IS on of those days I am going to stay inside with a hot drink, wearing leggings and a sweater ;) It's dark, and very rainy, and I'm so glad I did my grocery shopping yesterday. So, the kids and I will do school work, and I am also going to try a new recipe for Creamy Tortellini Soup~ now how's that for a wintery day?

Little Mittens

This little guy is one of my very favorites in my snowman collection for two reasons~ first because he was a gift from my oldest daughter, Jossalyn. And secondly, because of the mittens~ I love mittens, too!! And the fact that there are three sets, and I have three kids makes it just perfect.

Snow Folks

I took some pics today of my ever-growing snowman collection. I just love them...they are so cute & cozy, and bring the feel of a snowy winter to our house. I love snow, but we don't get much here, even when it's really cold, so I like to at least decorate for a snowy, wintery feel. Cinnamon scented pine cones are another winter favorite for me as well as a new candle scent I found- Maple Pumpkin. It smells amazing!
